When you use RateTheRef, we collect the information you provide when creating and using your account, including:
- Your email address
- Your display name
- Your selected football club
- Referee ratings you submit after matches
How we use your data
We use your information to provide the RateTheRef service — including showing your matches, recording your ratings, and maintaining your profile and streaks.
Ratings are aggregated across all users to produce referee leaderboard and statistics. Individual ratings contribute to these aggregates; we do not publish your identity alongside specific ratings.
Third parties
We do not sell your personal data to third parties. Your data is used only to operate RateTheRef and improve the fan rating experience.
Data storage & security
Your data is stored securely via Supabase, with industry-standard encryption and access controls. We take reasonable steps to protect your information from unauthorised access or disclosure.
Your rights
You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing andytierling@gmail.com. We will process deletion requests within a reasonable timeframe.
